Reuth operates subsidized community housing for low-income seniors, a network of senior homes, and a senior day center to ensure that senior citizens live out the final chapters of their lives in dignity and respect.
Reuth provides subsidized community housing in central Tel Aviv to 185 low-income seniors over the age of 65 who do not require nursing care. In addition to receiving an affordable place to live, our residents benefit from a wide range of social services including financial assistance for medical needs, enrichment classes, communal holiday celebrations, organized outings, and more.
Reuth manages and operates three senior homes: Beit Shalom and Beit Jenny Breuer in Tel Aviv and Beit Barth in Jerusalem. Our specialty is providing services to the observant community (dati leumi) who seek nursing care in a traditional atmosphere.
Each home features residential units for individuals and couples, a multidisciplinary professional team, and a kosher dining hall. Residents take part in enrichment activities such as folk dance, choir, art classes, computer classes, Torah studies, and more. The synagogue is the focal point of each home, where daily prayer takes place in addition to conversations about the weekly Torah portion and celebrations of Shabbat and holidays.
Located in the Old North neighborhood of Tel Aviv, the Mitchell Center offers a wealth of cultural and leisure activities for seniors during the day, including trips, lectures, Pilates, table tennis, jewelry making, language studies, choir, and much more. It is a social hub that enables individuals to maintain rich and vibrant lives in advanced age.
